Wendy has been riding for over 40 years. Her brother used to build mini bikes, and she learned riding from him at the age of 7. Her first “bought” bike was a Honda 70 trail bike and since then she has ridden many types of street and off road bikes. Her husband, son and daughter are all riders. Her son is also a certified MSF instructor. Between the 4 of them, they currently own 7 motorcycles; 2 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883s, a Buell-Blast, 2 Suzuki DR200’s, an R1 and a Ninja 600. Wendy has been a street and off-road instructor since 2005, and she teaches because she believes that the training programs work. Every person from the beginner rider to the advanced rider becomes a better and safer rider by learning new skills and constant practicing. The more riders are trained… the safer we all feel on the road. No one can ever know everything; every day on the road is a new learning experience!
Wendy has two degrees in Accounting and Business Management, and she is currently retired from the corporate world. She is co-owner of Centennial Construction and Flooring and works part time with Great Lakes Aviation at DIA. She lives in Highlands Ranch and owns a 200 acre ranch in Pueblo, Colorado. She is originally from New Jersey and California but she calls Colorado her home. She has 2 grandchildren, who this summer will be learning to ride off road bikes. They are a total motorcycle family.
