Civilian Top Gun Rider Courses Give You Confidence
The Civilian Top Gun Rider training is a very demanding, slow-speed training course designed to increase your confidence as a rider by teaching many of the skills used by professional motorcycle police who must rely on their skill to stay alive.
After completing the riding sessions you will have improved your balance and coordination on a motorcycle. By learning the precision exercises at slow speed, you will improve your riding skills at higher speeds. In addition, you will no longer be nervous about riding in tight spots. Your ability to ride on the street will vastly improve.
Take your riding to new heights of control and skill. Focus on the motorcycle controls and how to use them together for maximum efficiency and safety.
The exercises show the rider how to use motorcycle controls together for maximum benefit. Starting with clutch control exercises, riders learn to recognize and use the control point when feathering the clutch. Rear braking exercises are introduced and practiced. While the front brake is the most important one for stopping, the rear brake, if used properly, is critical for total control of the machine. Proper body positions that augment riding skills are introduced.
Learn to handle the motorcycle elegantly in slow speed turns, and heavy stop and go traffic.
Riders practice the skills needed for tight spots. Clinic one shows the rider how to maneuver the motorcycle in small places and look good doing it. The best motorcyclists can handle the motorcycle skillfully at slow speed, like slow turns, parking lot maneuvers, and heavy stop and go traffic. Riders start to put the rear brake and the front brake together for maximum control. The majority of motorcycle accidents occur in curves and improper braking. This clinic will show the rider how to handle curves and correct braking habits with confidence and ease.
